I love painting these birches in my front yard. Seeing them in the winter light, surrounded by snow, I could not resist painting them. Snow scenes are such a great subject with strong value structure and great color temperature contrast.

Sigh…I paint everyday, but I wish it was as beautiful as where you paint everyday. This one is my favorite.
