MH+D Art Issue...

Maine Home + Design included me in their new art issue, out now. They do a great job with this magazine, and also it’s sister publication, Maine Magazine. Both are very well put together, with a great sense of design, and full of beautiful images. I am really happy to be included in the magazine. If you can get your hands on a copy of it, you can see one of my newer paintings for a show I will have at Dowling Walsh Gallery, August 3-31. As I get the show organized I will start posting some of the images here to give you a sneak peak at the paintings

The painting above is from last week during our end of winter heat wave. The painting is 32″ square and was done mostly on site with some studio adjustments. This truck is a landmark in the midcoast when you turn off of rte 1 onto rte 90 in Warren. This truck has been sitting there since I moved to Maine almost ten years ago, and I have no idea why it took me so long to get to painting it.
