This was a fun one from last week in the warm weather. This is a weird jumble of things on a friend’s property. He puts some of the oddest combinations of objects together, including a little rocket on front of the wagon on the top left, and the motorcycle on a pedestal on the top right. To me it feels like the motorcycles on the ground are dreaming about the vehicles above them.
The last few days have been full of stretching canvas and priming. I am trying to get a good head start on the summer weather by having canvases prepared, and getting the garden ready. Last week was a nice taste of what’s to come.

You live in a trippy neighborhood. Congratulations to your neighbor for keeping this stuff out where it can be enjoyed instead of piled up in some dusty, smelly shed. And congratulations to you for seeing it all as a painting, and then painting it.
An unusual and interesting work. The color is very compelling, all that red!
Colin, I’m amazed at how many interesting things can be in a painting, yet it has a nice simplicity to it. Thanks for letting me know about the workshop site and I was able to snag a spot in North Haven! Yeah!
Hey Sam, I do live in an interesting place. It’s fun to stumble onto some of these weird subjects.
Thanks Dave. This is an odd one, but I like how it came together.
Karen, I look forward to seeing you on North Haven. Thanks.

Very eclectic collection. Very rural Maine
Ah! The work of a creative genius, no doubt! And you too Colin! Glad to have you painting at our barn.
