A few weeks ago I was teaching a workshop in Damariscotta, and as I pulled into my parking place for the day I saw this cottage, barely standing up on the other side of the fence. I often seem to find fun, new views when I bring one of my classes to a site. I have only painted here a few times, but was still surprised by seeing this new composition. Even when I take a class to Rockport Harbor, where I have painted quite a bit, I still always see things freshly when I see the seen through student’s eyes. This is just one of the many benefits of teaching, and being taught by my students.

Neat painting. I’m looking forward to your September workshop Colin and hoping for good weather.
Very nice! Did you teach at Round Top?
Thanks Dave. I am always hoping the weather holds out for a workshop, but I promise to keep you busy either way.
Hi Jody,
I never taught at Round Top, but I do teach through River Arts in Damariscotta. By the time I started teaching Round Top seemed to be coming to an end. Do they still do classes there now?
