62 Ferrari...

I noticed this scene while driving through Camden looking for something interesting to paint. There was a car show in front of the post office, and I had a walk around to look for a composition I liked. I definitely like the shape and lines of the car, but what made me interested in this as a painting was the subtle variations of gray. There is interesting color in the reflective metal of the car and that gray sits nicely into the similar color of the pavement. The owners of the car were really nice, along with the owners of other cars that day. It was fun to meet some of them and learn about the vehicles.

Beautiful edges, and I love the neutral car in front.

Strange how painting of cars can be so beautiful. Loving the looseness of the people in the background.

    Gleams, beautiful job!
