Cluck, cluck...

This is a rooster from Cushing, ME, who lives right on the harbor with great ocean views. The coop looks great and would make a great painting, but at the end of the day, the only thing I had time for was a quick study of this very active chicken.

   Great colors and terrific composition. What did you do to that bird to get it to pose so well?

   Thanks everyone. Ken, I could not get that bird to pose for more than a few seconds at a time, so I just kept trying to get little pieces of information put together to help me paint the pose I liked best. It was not easy.
