Happy Holidays...

This was  plein air painting from last week when we had a day of fresh snow. It was only one day, since it warmed up and rained all the next day. Then snowed the next evening. Seems like the snow doesn’t want to stick around for more than a few hours.

I hope you are all having a wonderful time over the holidays and enjoying time with your family. Thanks for visiting my website and following my work.

    Hi Colin,
If you paint like this on Maui this year, you will be hard to beat!

Are you bringing the family this year. Jean and I still don’t believe you have a wife and child. Probably those are posed models in your Facebook photos! Seeing is believing for us.

Looking forward to seeing you in February.
    Happy New Year,
    Linda and Jean

Thanks so much everyone. I had a great time over the holidays, and am settling back into life at home.

And thank you Linda. I appreciate that, but there are always some really incredible painters in Maui. And I will probably be leaving the family at home again this year, so you will just have to trust me. I promise to have more baby pictures to show you!

  7. the delicious spots of blue and lavender compliment (well…yeah) the beautiful shapes of the trees and complete the scene. Bam!
