Town Center...

This 12×16″ painting was done on location in Lincolnville Center, Maine. I was looking for some new places to paint and liked the way the architecture of this scene worked. I also liked playing with the colors of the light as it played across the front of the building.

   Nice one Colin. The dark blue sky sets it off, also the loose confident brushwork throughout.

   Thanks Ron, I did darken up the sky a bit to make this one work better.

   Really love this one Colin. Strong abstract qualities and great color. I like how the white of the canvas shows through in places.
