Sorry to say that one will be hanging on someone else’s living room wall.

Hi Tom,
Neither is easy. Both take alot of work. Many hours and lots of persistance are needed for both. I’ve gotten better at both over the years, and it helps to make sales that I’ve been putting my work out there for 7 years. But selling and paintign both take alot of work. I’m glad I make it LOOK easy though!

Colin – great workshop! I am so glad I got your book, too – everybody should get one! I’m still absorbing the lessons of the weekend, but I blogged about it – and included a photo of you! Hope you had a nice potluck dinner at Diane’s. Sorry I missed it!

I could go on and on, too, but I won’t.
I’ll just say that this painting, with its incredible chaos, is awesome. How you get it to hang together is just masterful. The balance is just sick. I mean that in a good way. Like BAAAAAAAAAAAD!

I love this piece! It is impressionistic but not at all sentimental. It is clean and captures the feeling of the warm sunlight on the flowers.
