Overwhelmed...

In the last few weeks I have sold my house and bought another. A week ago I moved everything over to the new place, including my studio. It was an incredible amount of work, and I’m still settling into the new house. I had to do all of this while I’m in the middle of preparations for several group shows and one solo show of my paintings this summer. I feel completely lost in all of this work, and I’m just trying to catch my breath when I can. Soon I’ll be posting info about these upcoming shows. With all of this work, I’ve been making some really fun paintings that I look forward to sharing. But until then…. I need to get back to my new studio and put some paint down on canvas.

   What’s up dog!!!! Are you going to be doing an show in the LBI area? I here what you mean about being overwhelmed! I moved in Oct. and I’m still getting settled!

   Looks like your painting is going well! Thats great!!! If you die before me I’ll be able to sell my Colin Page painting for BIG BUCKS!!! Not to worry feel, free to out live me cuz I won’t sell it anyway!!!

   Hang in there… I just went through the move part, minus the shows, and I can’t imagine the pressure you must feel. I hope the layout, the light, and the newness of your studio space inspires so much creative focus that painting becomes a refuge & cloaks the nagging To-Do list. I look forward to seeing what you produce in your new digs.

   Beautiful color harmony and composition. I love the way your cross between representational and abstraction. Very cool.
