Such an amazing painting! I can feel the cold water as I dangle my feet off the raft. Reminds me so much of childhood summers! The colors are just beautiful.

Wow – we used to rent a house on Megunticook Lake near Camden. I haven’t been back in 30 years, but this evokes the feel perfectly– the watery bright summer light, the far reflections, and the feel of the treesy shadow at water’s edge. I agree too that is a satisfying composition. Kudos too on doing this without getting postcard pretty.
