Busy as a Honeybee

Well summer is finally showing up in Maine, and with that comes my busiest time of year. I've been painting in the studio and out on location, and I'm finally getting ready to deliver many of those paintings.

In the last month I've dropped off some of these new paintings at Dowling Walsh Gallery, and also shipped some work to Anglin Smith Fine Art in Charleston, SC. On top of that, a good selection of paintings is being held aside for a show I have coming up in Ellsworth this July at Courthouse Fine Art Gallery. The show will open July 18 with a reception from 5-7pm. The paintings will hang for about a month. August 1st I will give a talk at the gallery, which will be open to the public.

This is always a crazy time of year, but I love it because I finally get to share my paintings with a broader audience. As much as I'm attached to some of these new pieces, I'm also thrilled to be sending them out into the world. In the next month I'll keep updating the website with new images. If you want to see some new work in person, stop by at one of the galleries that exhibits my work.
